Neither route overrides a region or account restriction.\n\n## A quick request versus a working session\n\nIf a message arrives while you are travelling, the phone is the natural place to capture the request and respond to an approval prompt. If you're reconciling several sources into a report, a larger screen makes it easier to read the underlying material and inspect the answer. Some delegated work can continue after the app closes; that does not make every connector or action available on every account and device. The Mac app introduces a separate question: access to local files and native apps, which is not identical to a web session. Mac permissions deserve a separate check before you authorize access.\n\nApp-store visibility and account eligibility do not settle which screen is best for doing the work.\n\n## What Meta's screens share—and what remains distinct\n\nAfter you hand Muse a longer task, it can keep working on its cloud computer while the app is closed. If the agent opens a page, you can bring up its browser view, take control, or stop the task. For an eligible account, the question is therefore more precise than “app or web?”: where will you start the request, where will you inspect the agent's steps, and where will you review the result? A Mac-native task adds a separate layer of OS permissions for local files and apps. Meta has not said that every surface exposes identical controls for every user.\n\nA finished document or image lands in the Library; check the permissions and intended recipient before sharing it outside your account. The **Activity log** helps reconstruct actions and past permissions; **Upcoming** lists scheduled tasks. Those are better checkpoints than assuming a notification means the content is accurate. For example, an agent may have successfully opened pages but relied on an outdated figure. In a browser at your desk, compare the final statement with the underlying source rather than stopping at “task complete.”\n\n## When the work continues at your desk\n\nTake an ordinary team task: someone sends you notes from a customer call on your phone. You want the open issues grouped, supporting research added, and a short proposal ready for a meeting. The first instruction can happen on mobile; the evidence review and final document may happen in a browser or on a computer with the relevant files. The important thing is keeping the task, sources and feedback connected as it moves.\n\n**MuseWork is a separate AI work partner from a different company.** It offers a web workspace, iPhone and Android apps, and desktop clients for Mac, Windows and Linux. A phone can be a useful place to start or follow the job; for local files and browser actions, the desktop client brings the work into your computer environment with permission. Your team can review the proposed result instead of treating the first answer as final.\n\n## A handoff you could copy into a real task\n\n“Prepare a one-page brief for Thursday's product review. Use the attached meeting notes and the approved Q3 sheet; mark figures not supported by either. Draft three recommendations, but do not send the result to anyone. Ask me before using an outside service.” The phone is a good place to capture the request and approve a well-described step; a computer is better for checking the sheet against the brief.
